International E-Waste Day

International E-Wase Day was initiated by the WEEE Forum and its members in 2018 to raise awareness about the growing e-waste issue and to promote responsible e-waste management. It has been increasingly successful at doing so in the past years. This year, it will once again take place on 14 October under the slogan “Join the E-Waste Hunt – Retrieve, Recycle, and Revive!” focusing on the unused electronics that people store in their homes without realising these items contain valuable materials that could gain a new life.
