Green Alliance Event | No time to waste: why we need the Circular Economy Growth Plan

October 2026 marks a year since the government was expected to release its Circular Economy Growth Plan for England, through which it said it would start building the resource efficient, resilient businesses of the future.

But the plan is still nowhere to be seen and its absence is a problem. Every day of delay means opportunities to shift the economy and benefit from its growth, environmental and social opportunities are being missed.

This event is creating a moment to spotlight the plan’s absence, demonstrate why it is needed and convince the government to act.
