THIS IS A FREE TO ATTEND EVENT
An Industrial ‘Open-Day’ for MedTech companies to visit ReMed laboratory facilities and to influence the shape of an ‘Innovation Centre’ for developing economically viable and environmentally sustainable recycling technologies and processes for medical devices.
Who should attend:
We are inviting decision-makers and influencers in the design, manufacturing and reprocessing of medical devices to get involved in shaping the future of circular healthcare in the UK.
Programme
Morning Session:
- 10:15-10:30 Arrival and refreshment
- 10:30-11:50 Laboratory demonstration of recycling technologies developed in the UKRI-EPSRC funded ReMed project.
- Shared Consultation Session: 12:00-12:30 Presentations on progress on the Design-for-Life Roadmap (DHSC) & review of the Clinical Waste Strategy (NHS England)
- 12:30-13:00 Consultation on the organisation of UK innovation in medical device recycling
- 13:00-14:00 Lunch (consultation continued).
Afternoon Session:
- 11:45-12:00 Arrival and refreshment
- 12:00-14:10 Shared as above
- 14:10-15:30 Laboratory demonstration of recycling technologies developed in the UKRI-EPSRC funded ReMed project.
